Smosh - If Video Games Were Real

Smosh is partially responsible for me joining my B.O.C.E.S. class. My friend Steve and I participated in filming short skits with his mom's camera and then edited them in Windows Movie Maker. xD

So when I started looking into video production and my counsellor suggested Digital Media I hopped on it, and I've definitely grown in my abilities. :D

I always liked this video but I recently looked at it like an editor and a camera man. It's really quite genius. The entire video is one continuous shot panning back and forth. Christofer Drew sits on a park bench all day and plays his guitar while people come and go, displaying all struggles of life and tribulations of love. Pay close attention for tidbits in the background, too, particularly the black mailman in the back whom the text points out has three kids. Just an example.

Slow Dance

So I thought today would be an appropriate time to reflect on yesterday's guest speaker. I don't remember his name, I've only been referring to him as bald guy. I wish I had extra arms. So I could give it four thumbs down. I don't know if it was his unoriginality, patronization, or just how annoying he was. Maybe a combination of all of them in addition to the fact that people actually enjoyed his speaking. Yeah, that's it. I like it when people come in and talk to me like I'm an adult, and don't try to 'get down on my level' or 'relate to me.' It makes me feel like they think I'm stupid, and naturally, that doesn't appeal to me. Acting stupid only makes me angry, it doesn't make me like you. Not to mention he tells me "I'm going to to tell you things in the next ten minutes you won't be able to hear anywhere else." There was not a single word in his entire presentation that was new to me, except for his ridiculously drawn out stories about his family that I don't care about. Overall, I way would have rather worked yesterday.

I loooooooove that line. That band has such a good message, whether it be about love, friendship, holding on, or faith in humankind, but, they juke you out, because they are not a Christian band! xD Juked you out. 

So since my post yesterday hailing my toaster, it took a turn for the worst. I was feeling PopTarts again this morning, like "Yeah, dude! PopTarts!" So I dropped those delicious dry morsels into the toaster and pressed the lever down thinking "Here you go, toaster. I am trusting you with my breakfast, work your magic." Turns out while I was away my toaster learned some new magic that involves leaving one PopTart just as dry and ridiculous as when I put it in, melting the other into the red hot grates, and filling my house up with smoke. High five, toaster! I spent the next ten minutes cleaning melted PopTart from the floor, seeing as how when I pulled the singed corpse of my once potentially delicious PopTart from the wreckage that is my douchebag of a toaster, my dog jumped up to grab it and made me drop it. I am thinking about going home, hanging my dog, and taunting my toaster with mean schoolyard names until it kills itself.

There's a whole guitar part in "Dear Maria, Count Me In" by All Time Low that I never heard until just now! That's so B.A.! (B.A. = Badass in censored blog form.)

I suppose I should do real work now. Just had to make sure I told everyone how much of a dick my toaster is before I forgot the vital details of the morning.

Monday. I don't hate Mondays as much as most people do.... Most weeks. Mornings like this morning I wake up give my dog a hug and hum along to 'Things That Rhyme with Orange" while getting myself a bowl of cereal. Other mornings I want to use one of my cat's spines as a flail and break car windows in my underwear.  This morning I had Pop-Tarts. From the toaster! Turns out it makes them a million times better. I HAD NO IDEA!

Going to Holleh's this weekend, assuming I do all meh chores and whatnot. While I'm there I gotta sign something in order to go to her Homecoming the next Friday, and then we're staying at her friend's house for a Kingdom Hearts Sleepover!!!!!!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!

Satan gave me the idea to add to the blog today. She's writing in hers in front of me and I'm like "Yeah. It's time."

B.O.C.E.S. today. Did not come close to falling asleep once during the whole masks demo! New record for this year. Most demos it's like I'm trying to combat a 1000 pound weight chained to my eyelids. Did I mention I was on fire, too? It only adds to the difficulty, believe me.

Miss May I's new CD just keeps getting better!! I learned how to play Colossal yesterday. Makes the CD that much better now that I can play two of it's songs. I can play just about half of "Apologies are for the Weak." Porcelain Wings sounds the most difficult, and that's one of the ones I can't play. xD There was this guy playing Halo Reach that had the Gamertag [Chris May I]. I was sooooo jealous it's not even right. I added him. And messaged him. Twice.

Holleh had the baby for Health class this weekend. She hated it so much. xD We were on Stickam and she just glared at it for like ten minutes haha. It was our love child. Her name was Amber and now she's chained up in the school's closet. Dx

Can't wait to go home and play guitar!! I started a new song last night. It's B.A. Got some pretty sick ideas for it when I get home, too. Stoooooked.

Meh Friday Post

Sooo this week was pretty boring not gonna lie. But at least it's not boring and bad, just boring. xP
Yesterday I sang and played guitar (Kissing in Cars by Pierce the Veil) to Holleh on Stickam. It was amazing, not gonna lie. Stoked to see her next week. I'm heading out to Attica for their Homecoming game and danceeee. :D Should be a blast. xP

Tis quite good. Some of Levi's faces I have to sadly admit are a little eh but overall, nicely done. This is what I wanna do sooo bad. I can't wait to hook up with meh broz and make one haha.

First Day of B.O.C.E.S. :D

So yesterday I was told that my bus would 6:30. At my house. At 6:30. This morning. So I wake bright and early at 5:00 a.m. Ready to show up in B.O.C.E.S. with a beaming smile on my face. Like this. :D

So after I cut my extensive beauty regimen short in order to be waiting out front for the bus at 6:15, I paced back and forth for 40 minutes. That's right. At 6:50 I show up back at my house absolutely raging. Meh mommeh wakes up like "What's wrong?!" And I'm like "Mom! The bus never showed up!!" And then I punched a hole through my youngest kitten. In order to calm me down my mom played a relaxing song on her enchanted violin and then drove me to Sanborn in her mini van. That flies.

I show up at B.O.C.E.S. to find that no one shows up until like 8:00. I was there at 7:15. Somebody lied to Chris.
